How to learn a martial art
How I did it: Took kick boxing with a personal trainer. Trained three times a week. Of course, there is definitely a lot more that I could learn so I will continue training by myself now that I'm back at the university.
Lessons & tips: Practice everyday, even when you don't want to! It takes a lot of energy, but it's worth it to feel strong and safer when walking down the streets.
