How to stress less
How I did it: I get physically ill when I'm stressed. I've been to a couple doctors and had been told the same thing, that I was in pain due to stress. So I had no choice. Part of dealing with it was to recognize that some things were just not worth the effort to worry about, some things were just a passing aggravation, and some things are a necessary part of life. Being stressed does not influence the outcome of anything, except the probability of me being in pain. Now, I deal with stressful situations by essentially telling myself that it's not worth it to worry. I do my best to solve the problem when that's what is necessary, I focus on the happy times when that is the only option, I express myself to the people that might be the source of the stress and I eliminate the problem when I can. It's a work in progress, stressful situations will be aroung until I die, but I've gotten pretty good at managing it.
