How to run another marathon
How I did it: I have wanted to do this for years now. It had been 8 years since my first marathon. I finally decided this was the year to do it, so I signed up for the marathon about 6 months before hand. This gave me the drive and motivation to makes sure I kept up with the training.
Lessons & tips: If you are really detirmined to do it, sign up for it way ahead of time so you have plenty of time to get yourself mentally prepared for the fact that you will be running a marathon. Also tell everyone you know that you are training for a marathon. It is a lot harder to back out or talk yourself out of it once you have signed up and told your friends and family about it!!
Resources: Have a good amount of base training and then follow a 16 week training plan to get you prepared to run your marathon and feel good about doing it!
