How to cure my fibromyalgia
How I did it: I stretched and relaxed and massaged and changed my diet and changed my outlook and my personality and stopped resenting and stretched some more. I tried probiotics and guaifenesin and coconut oil and valerian root and acupuncture and massage and self trigger point therapy and inversion tables and magnesium and yoga.
I did a lot of things, and all of them helped in some way - even if the help was just a realization that 'no, this isn't what I need' or a bridge between two pieces of knowledge.
I learned to trust that my body knew what it needed. I started to try to 'tune in' to my body on a regular basis. I started to consider a feeling of interest in something as a genuine sign that it would be helpful for me in some way.
Lessons & tips: believe that your body can heal itself, and all you need to do is provide an environment that facilitates healing.
