How I did it: I compared several different schools before making my decision. I ended up staying in my own area and attending a then medical college (which has since become a university) and took the certificate program.

Lessons & tips: Compare schools. Apply for the FAFSA and Financial Aid. Compare pros and cons to the certificate vs the degree program. Either way, you're most likely going to have to start entry level anyway. And the price difference between the two is huge.
