How to get a job
How I did it: I put in many applications, did follow up phone calls and kept at it. I found the places that accepted an online resume, a place were you could upload it or cut and paste it showed more interest than places where that wasn't an option.
Lessons & tips: Keep at it, do as much face to face interviews that you can and apply for jobs that you can and would be interested in.
I found my self limited by transportation and other things but everyday I reminded my self that this was a step to something else. And thinking about how the job would help me in the future. Seeing a customer service job not only as underpaid for tons of work but an opportunity to work with many different people ect.
Ok, it's a bit of over exaggerations in order to keep moral high, but it worked. It seemed like everyone started calling at the same time! it was all or nothing! and then I had options.
