How I did it: I started on the interesting books of the bible to me like PROVERBS... and kept checking them off once I read them. I then keep the not so fun books like NUMBERS to read in sequence with the first five books. Then just read a lot of it in order till I had read the entire Bible from cover to cover. I even read all the Maps at the back.  Its been a few years now since I first read it and I'm now working on reading it my third time. The second time I followed a yearly reading guide. This time I'm reading it from front to back in order... and next time I'm going to get a special bible that has the books of the bible put in order when they were written. I always try to read a different translation. The first time it was a NIV and the second time New Living Translation. In the future I would like to read the Message Bible and someday I might take on the KJV.
