I promised myself I would do this, but I keep making excuses! What better excuse should there be than being more healthy and saving money for your efforts?! Crazy!
How I did it: By keeping a water bottle on my desk at work and making conscious efforts to drink water when I craved sodas. It takes a while to kick the habit of sweet drinks and to allow your body to enjoy water. Once I started paying attention to how I felt after drinking sodas it became easier to drink more water instead. I began to notice how bloated I felt after I drank the soda and I didn't feel that way when I drank water instead.
Lessons & tips: Don't give up. Old habits are hard to break.
