How to learn to relish and value mediocrity

How I did it: wallowed in self pity for a while, then came to the realisation that life in itself is futile and that I will never rule any country (even as a benevolent dictator).
Enjoy the parts of the day that you can and realise that you will not become a nobel winner unless you do the work that merits one. Just because someone wants something bad enough does not make it happen through positivity.
