How to buy a computer

How I did it: I saved up my cash from freelance art work I did over the summer, and then had my friend who knows a lot about computers help me pick out and customize my own HP.
Lessons & tips: Save your money rather than buying a computer on a payment plan. You'll feel a lot better when you do. Even after I had the money, I held onto it for a couple months just to make sure this is what I wanted to spend it on. It turned out especially well because there was a sale going on when I ended up buying it, and I got a great deal!
