How to find at least one thing each day that makes me happy and record it everyday for a year

How I did it: Every night when I go to bed, I write down 1-4 things about my day that made me happy or thankful for what I have. Some days, they are people or big things; other days, it's something as simple as "coffee."
Lessons & tips: Make it a habit -- buy yourself a nice book to write in.
