Evening routine
I find one thing that helps me make my morning go better is a good evening routine. I fill up bottles of water for work, and put them in the fridge, and also get my work snack (these days, a couple of dried apricots or figs, and 10 to 12 almonds) ready. I make sure I am stocked up on throat-soothing candies. I also pack my bag for work, and make sure I’ve got clean clothes somewhere (although, this is more of an afterwork routine, because by evening, I’m too sick of doing stuff to do another load of laundry).
