How to hack my Canon so I can shoot RAW by Chris Campbell

"Hacking my Canon Elf was a lot of fun and it made me feel like more of a photo geek."

How I did it: I downloaded the firmware update from the CHDK Wiki and installed it on my camera. It wasn't that hard to do and it enabled me to try some things out that I didn't think would be possible with a consumer-level camera.
