How I did it: I found a design I liked on the internet and printed it off, and then stuck it on my wall for the next few months as I decided if I wanted it or not. Eventually I worked up the courage to have it done on my inner forearm. I'd heard it would be painful to have it done there, but the sensation was only a mix between pins and needles, and a mild burning.

Lessons & tips: I reccommend pinning your design to something you have to look at each day. Your fridge, your work desk, anywhere. Pin it there for at least 2 months. If you get sick of it, you know the design isn't for you.

Also, don't pick at it. At all. You may pick at it once, and it may be fine underneath, but you can develop spots were the ink hasn't taken....
