How to take dance lessons
How I did it: Signed up for a 5-week introduction to Tango at the Century Ballroom in Seattle. It was an hour-long night class once per week. I signed up with a friend but in class they encourage people to switch partners between songs, in order to broaden your exposure to various skill levels and techniques. "Takes two to Tango" is a cliche whose validity became strikingly clear over the course of the class. Dancing with random strangers spanned the range from awkward to flirty, humbling to inspiring, graceful to downright klutzy.
Lessons & tips: Take the class during non-summer months. The ballroom is a sauna on hot days and sweating on strangers during round-robin dance partnering is, you know, not cool.

Wow, that sounds like fun! There is a ballroom dancing session coming up in my local area next month that I have been looking at going to. No men up here in Montana are willing to go and ballroom dance, though. Sad!!
That’s too bad. If I hadn’t heard that the average Montana woman you might get paired up with is unlikely to bathe, I’d suggest that you take the class anyway. Ha ha.

Hey now, I am a MT girl, and I bathe quite regularly—-thankyou.
Unfortunately, I cannot speak for the other burly Montana women who may be foxtrotting with me ;)
