How I did it: it was easy, checked out my person's list, paid attention and got a simple thoughtful gift. I was a bit worried about it for some reason but really why not. 

Nothing from the person that picked me but it's early yet. 
This will make a nice christmas this year.

I have to be up tomorrow and I want a snack. The usual formula is some sort of pie and coffee but I have to be up. Not going out.

I usually have a goods in the bullpen to get me over the hump in these situations but the fridge is empty. It’s usually empty but i look anyway.

Pie is replaced by a Clif Bar. Coffee? Secret Santa provided packets of the local brew from their hometown.
