How to go to Paris
How I did it: I've been taking french for five years, and last summer I decided to put my education to use. I signed up with my high school and raked out a bunch of cash as well. The trip was a total of 10 days, and we spanned a lot of France: Nice to Paris, with a lot of stops every day. It was a good trip, but I wish I had had a little bit more time to actually look around and find some cool things for myself. We only spent two days in Paris, hardly enough. It was fun, and I got to see many beautiful things, but it wasn't long enough to fully transition out of "culture shock" mode and start seeing France the way France should be seen.
Lessons & tips: If you can go with your family or with some friends, do that instead of a structured tour. It's different for everyone, by I personally exploring things myself.
