How I did it: I just kept reminding myself it was the only thing standing between me and graduating.  It also helped a great deal to have a topic that I was truly passionate about.  I worked during the weekend, after work, and sometimes over my lunch break at work.

Lessons & tips: Care about your topic.  I changed my topic three times because I lost interest twice.  Once I settled on my final topic, it was something I was truly passionate about, and it made it much easier to complete.
