Go you, girl!!!
People like you are an inspiration :)
How I did it: i've been in university for one year before accessing do med school. not because i've wanted it, but because i didn't passed the equivalent to the USA exam. so, in the next year, I repeated that exam, and here i am, in the medical school :D
Lessons & tips: study a lot! if you can't do it in your country, don't be afraid to do it abroad. in portugal's case, the minimum grades to access the med school are so high (18 in 20, minimum) that a lot of portuguese students go study abroad (in spain and czech republic) where the access is much easier.
Resources: if you can't do it in the first time, don't be afraid to go to university, to another area (related to biological sciences, preferencially health) to gain another type of knowledge, that can be useful to pass the exam!
hope i've made myself clear (sorry about any errors), and good luck! ;-)
