How I did it: Sometimes I read a book or more in a day sometimes it took weeks or months to slog through a book that I'd take up and set down again. At times, I'd promise books to people which I hadn't yet read thinking it would motivate me, but it usually made me feel resentful. I'll keep reading. It's harder now that the new tv season has started and the writers' strike is over, but I still read like a fiend.
