How to buy a car

"I bought a Mazda 3 which I love, but I didn't research well enough and now I am paying more than I would like."
How I did it: I researched for a little while and narrowed it down by price. I guess I didn't think about the different trim levels though... the one I ended up getting was much more expensive than the MSRP I saw online... probably because the one I saw online didn't have power locks! I went to a toyota dealership and a mazda dealership, and instead of taking the time to think about it, I just bought the pretty car. Salesmen can be so pushy
Lessons & tips: Do your research before hand, go to the dealership when it is closed so you can get a better idea of what car you want and how much its going to be.
