How I did it: Bought Mel's Square foot gardening book and followed the instructions :)
My 3 year old was a great help harvesting radishes.
Lessons & tips: Start small and start early. I ended up only having the last half of the summer season. Oh yes, and plant only things that you really enjoy eating or looking at.
