How to graduate from university
How I did it: Just keep moving foward. There are always going to be setbacks but part of getting an education is leaning to deal with what life throws at you. As much as your degree is about learning, it's also about showing that you can stick to something and see it through.
Lessons & tips: If you are struggling in a class even though you are working hard at it or it is keeping you from doing your best at your other courses, drop it. Try not to hesitate. Find out when the deadlines to withdraw are and get out of the class. It will allow you to focus on doing really well in the other classes instead of doing okay in them and maybe passing the really hard class. I took an extra semester but it meant my GPA is better.
Know the requirements of your degree. See your advisor. If your advisor sucks try to get a new one.
There's no excuse. You are most likely paying a lot of money to be in school so make the most of your time and use all the resources your school offers.
Resources: I always try to look up professors when I am registering for classes to avoid misery. I use ratemyprofessor.com.
The bookstore is a ripoff. I use Amazon.com for most of my buying and selling.
