How to get my teeth fixed
How I did it: So it started a while back -- had a dodgy molar that slowly died (earliest I remember problem with it was in 2001) and a ton of other holes that I started noticing around early 2007. Did exams in April/May 2007 under the influence of a lot of ibuprofen, got really bad results, and decided that right, this needs to be sorted out.
Started going to the dentist properly in summer 2007--- they have a nice dentistry in the University and all that, too! Don't know why I didn't go earlier! They pulled out one wisdom tooth and did a lot of fillings. The change from having sore teeth (ongoing for around 3 months) to not having sore teeth was the best thing ever that summer. More appointments through to April 2008, when they pull out another wisdom tooth because it grew out sideways and was slowly causing problems (no more yucky taste at the back of my month). I left university at June 2008 and got root canal done on my poor decaying teeth since 2001. It was so dead that I didn't need anaesthetic, but still it was good to have it cleaned out. It's probably always going to be mildly problematic but definitely not as bad as it used to be.
Finally chipped a tooth in Sept 2009, but now I am back at uni so I went to the dentists again, and they filled it up really quickly.
Lessons & tips: Prevention is better than cure. Keep your teeth clean and go regularly for checkups!
