How to take a ride in a hot air balloon
It made me

"Amazing and different from any other form of flight."
How I did it: I started by working with someone who owned a balloon and needed someone to help with launches and chase crew duties.
This involved crack of dawn loading.
It involved some back breaking work.
A LOT of land owner relations to sooth ruffled feathers; the result of what happened when you took out part of someone else’s property while landing.
And a good eye with a map and the judicious use of a radio.
After a few years of chasing and diligent loading and launching... I finally got a chance to fly.
