How to go to new orleans

How I did it: My best friend and I decided we needed to take a vacation. We bought a flight and hotel package on priceline.com for super cheap for the time during fall break at our university. It was awesome. We walked all over that city. We ate great food, had yummy drinks, shopped and browsed to our hearts' content and had a prolonged discussion with the underage barback at our hotel.
Lessons & tips: Visit Bourbon Street, but make sure that you only get Hurricanes from Pat O'Briens. It's the most bang for your buck.
Eat at the Attiki Bar and Grill on Decatur. They have awesome food, free wifi, great drinks, and hookahs too.
Go on foot, you see so much more and don't have to worry about parking the damn vehicle.
