How I did it: I am going to college in Chicago. I recommend if you are going to school, to just apply out of state, or i you need to be a California resident for finaid purposes, just apply in northern California, or some other non-angelean location. I will warn you though- if you go mid-west to east coast- it is fucking freezing. It sucks so hard in the winter that I come back here every Christmas, even though Los Angeles is a really annoying city.
