How I did it: I waited until my cell phone subscription expired and I had a great discount on an iPhone 3GS. It was beautiful and it made me so happy. Then, on my birthday, I accidentally walked into a pool and killed it. And, I did not spend the extra $100 for the AppleCare. So, I ended up with an iPhone 3G and I am okay with it. It has become my work phone and I check my e-mail with it. But, I can't wait till 2 years have passed and I will be able to get that iPhone 3GS or, perhaps, the 4GS someday.
