How I did it: I locked myself in my room over the course of two long weekends and just read each story. Plato's prose is not difficult to read and the dialectic format really lends itself to you. By the time I was done, it was a pretty great feeling to know that I had a better knowledge of the founding father of philosophy and his successor than most. And it makes me think of everything from the perspective of its foundation now, so that I never accept anything just because I was told it was so.
