How I did it: Paid it down to $15224.22, $2000 of which was from student loan money, which is MUCH lower interest and I don't have to start paying it back until I'm done with school. Even without that $2000, I still hit the goal. Now that Christmas is over, I need to make sure that I work REALLY tightly with my money so I can make the most out of it in paying off debt.
Lessons & tips: Make yourself goals to accomplish before you allow yourself to spend any unnecessary money. Still spend some money, otherwise you're more likely to blow large amounts when you wear down.
