How to learn fencing
"Fencing was amazing and helped a bunch with balance and focus."
How I did it: I googled 'fencing' with the name of my city and came across a fencing center. They offered classes and I signed up for the 6-week course. The classes lasted an hour and a half and went through the en garde stance, how to advance and retreat, parries, and ended in bouting.
Lessons & tips: You must practice 5 minutes a day. Practicing includes working on footwork, the en garde stance, etc. It's not that much and it is necessary to become a real fencer. Once you are in more advanced classes, you can then fence others often and it won't be as necessary to practice (as long as you're bouting with others about three times a week).
