How to becoming vegan
How I did it: It is very important to me to know what I am putting into and onto my body so it was just a matter of time before this change took place.
I say it only took me a day because I just gave it all up and it was this easy. I have tried giving up certain things before (mainly sweets) and it didn't work at all cos I craved them like mad but this time round it was like a switch has been flicked. I still eat sweet things but now I make a conscious choice about which ones (Dark Quality Chocolate for example..)
I don't go round preaching but I do talk about it if anyone's interested.
Having said all of the above.. I do find myself in a situation where I am faced with the only option on the menue being a bean burger or so which happens to have a bit of mayo on it for example. This is were I must decide whether I go hungry or eat what's there but maybe remove it or so. It doesn't happen often and I hope one day it won't happen at all but we're constantly learning.
Today it's 5 months of me living a Vegan lifestyle and I'm facing constant battle from uninformed members of family/society but I will not listen to them unless they do their research.
I can only say: do it, consider it, try it. You will feel better. :)
