How to be more confident
How I did it: I get the sense this is a big problem for many folks. For me this is a rather vague goal anyway - I consider true confidence the ability to live life without fear, now THAT'S a challenge. For the rest of us though, it pays to understand what confidence really is. It's trusting in your deepest, most natural feelings, which are the product of your own experience. I'm not talking about chemical squirts in the body. I'm talking about acting out of who you really are in the face of all opposition, about getting the job done, and clearing out everything to the contrary, all your thought loops, all negative emotions or perceived blocks, thoughts of what others think, what you're capable of. Fear is your only enemy.
Find something that excites you so massively that you want to do it for it's own sake. It's actions like these which are emotionally sponsored and give you joy. Why bother doing anything else?
Lessons & tips: Go and meditate, ask yourself EXACTLY how you feel and don't withhold. Be radically honest. Write everything down and set some goals for yourself, commit to pushing through whatever fears you might have. An advanced test? Go talk to 10 people you find attractive on the high street and ask for their phone number. If you're comfortable with it, they won't mind, and if they're not comfortable with it then, at that point it's none of your concern anymore.
Now - to live without fear...!
