How to go jogging
"It was a lot harder than I thought to run outside after being on a tread-mill, but very rewarding and I felt strong afterwards"
How I did it: I bought some running shoes, some running shorts, and found an old hoody I could use to keep warm. Then I would set a time to go running after-dark and run for at least 20 minutes around town.
The only problem I found was that as it got in to the colder months, the cold air started to hurt my lungs and I found it difficult to breathe. So i've stopped running for winter (it's COLD here!) and am going to take it up again in the spring.
Lessons & tips:
Start off slow and build up the distance you run for each time.
Buy comfortable running shoes. Don't eat before hand. Make SURE you have some up-beat music to run to, it will make your run go a lot quicker and easier!
Resources: Sports shops. Music.
And my own perseverance!
