How I did it: Actually took me about 5 minutes....once I'd gotten to a place where I could donate a goat and still pay all my bills on time.  I found one for $30 at a christian missionary website....although most on other websites were $50, and you could name your goat and get it vaccinated.  You can also donate other livestock for other amounts.  Simply googling "donate a goat" opened my eyes to all sorts of opportunities to help people in 3rd world countries in specific, sustainable ways that allow them also to help themselves.  Next time maybe I'll be making more money and I'll donate a dairy cow for $120.
