How to make a birthday card for my sponsored child.
It made me
happy. 
"I drew and colored a birthday card for my sponsored child, a little girl from Guatemala called Manyulli who will be 11 years old in January 2010."
How I did it: I drew the card on cold press watercolor paper, then used a spoon pen and Deleter 5 ink to ink the illustrations. I colored the card with Copic Sketch markers and added details with white poster paint. I included a handmade bookmark inside and mailed the card to the Children International main office. They will deliver the card to the office in Manyulli's area.
Lessons & tips: Sponsoring a child and sending her little gifts is a very rewarding experience. I recommend it highly!
