How to go to university
How I did it: Before going to Uni, my whole life was centred around my education with one ultimate goal to come out of it; to get into university. Pushing myself to do all of my work at school, and sixth form didn't seem worth it at the time when I was swamped in over my head with coursework and exam revision.
Now I've settled in at University and have made friends with some wonderful people I am having the time of my life. Even better, the debt I'm racking up I don't have to worry about until I graduate and am earning over £15,000 a year. Wonderful.
Lessons & tips: - Don't worry about having a set job in mind for when you graduate.
- Do it for you, not for anyone else (family, teachers)
- Choose a course you like, don't base your choice solely on where it will lead you/ how much money you can earn from it.
- Don't worry about money or debt. It will all be worth it.
Resources: My brain, determination and willpower.
