How to stop cutting
"I feel so much better about myself now that I have learned to sit with my emotions."
How I did it: I just decided one day that I needed to stop drinking and cutting myself, so I just stopped cold turkey. I started drawing, painting and journaling more. I opened up more with my therapist.
Lessons & tips: Journal, Draw, Paint. Do whatever you can to take your mind off whatever is making you want to cut.
