How to go see what the Maya culture left behind (and i refuse to call those 'ruins')

How I did it: 1-day trip to Chichenitza. Next day another to Tulum with a stop at an authentic Maya village, then off to Coba. I've got to say that I climbed the main piramid in Coba, and even saw the plaque with the last entry in Maya calendar (the day the world is supposed to end).
