How to learn french

How I did it: I've taken a lot of classes and read a lot of books in order to increase my understanding of the language. i know that i'm not near fluent but i'm at a satisfactory place that makes me happy in regards to knowing a second language. i know that i could survive in a french speaking country, and for now i'm going to put this goal at a rest.
Lessons & tips: practice. repetition. keys to understanding this language. speaking and listening are also very valuable.
