How to write a book by Carlton Matthews

"It was one of the most exciting and exhausting experiences of my life!"

How I did it: I participated in NaNoWriMo for the 5th year in a row and finally finished a novel.  I spent most of the month telling people that I was not doing as well on this goal so I wouldn't jinx myself.  When it was over all I wanted to do was sleep.  Late Nights plus high bouts of creativity makes for a tired guy.

Lessons & tips: If you want to do something BIG, consider compressing your time-frames and challenge yourself!

That is so cool!

I’ve always wanted to write a book about the story of my ancestors, but I will have to do it in my native Spanish… maybe one of these days I find the courage to get started!
