How to run a six minute mile

How I did it: Overtraining is the key. I've been trying to run a 5k at least 3 times a week (on top of lifting weights). By pushing your 5k time, you can easily improve your 1 mile time. Also, by working on interval training with short bursts of high intensity, your long distance, endurance will improve greatly.
Resources: A good pair of shoes. Go to a running store where they can wach you run in different pairs to match you to a pair of well-fitted running shoes.
