How to create ATC cards (artist trading cards)
How I did it: I checked out the 'rules' of ATC (artist trading card) making to find out how everyone else defines them. Then I cut a bunch of blank peices of thick paper (like thin cardboard) and I started working on them. Everything from abstract colours and lines, all the way up to layering with hand-drawn art (bits of the paper) or adding objects like stamped pewter. It was a lot of fun, and not nearly as hard as it seems!
Lessons & tips: Start simple, and don't stop! Keep adding and trying things out! It seems complicated, but each step is simple- lots of easy steps MAKE the end result complicated is all!
Resources: I went down to my local craft store, and looked at all the fancy stuff- then I just had fun with the things I already had on hand, and needed very little to add to them!
