How to have a vegetable garden.
"Well, my wife did most of the work. We have herbs, sunflower, corn, tomatoes. The herbs are easy. Start there!"
How I did it: Clear a space with plenty of sun. Start with seedlings from a local store: it is more costly, but easier to get going. Once you have the hang of it you can go for seeds and more challenging crops.
Lessons & tips: Buy seedling herbs and plant them. They are robust. Don't start with tomatoes, they are difficult. Sunflowers are nice: they are pretty and the seeds are very nutritious.
