How I did it: The night before, my mother joked around with me about it snowing today because of how cold it was getting. We live in Florida where there are two settings on our weather dial. Dry and Pleasant (lasts December, January, and February), and Wet and Suffocating (every other month).
Well, her joke turned out to not be a joke afterall once I checked the website for The Weather Channel. My eyes popped out of my head. lol. I stayed up just to see it come down. It wasn't a spectacular snow (you northerners would probably just snicker at me), only a minor dusting, no accumulation really. But I loved seeing it fall down on me from the night sky.
I gathered some of the snow from the vehicles in the front yard and made snowballs too.
I'll be uploading some pictures of it to my flickr account some time when I'm not feeling tired and lazy. lol
I really didn't expect to get this checked off my list any time soon. I just got really really lucky. :)
Lessons & tips: If you really want to see snow, don't live in Florida. Best tip I can give you.

It finally snowed this winter, when we had that freeze.
I was excited but I still want to see REAL snow that lasts more then a minute. :\
Florida is not the best state to live in if you love snow.
