How to have winter campfires in my tipi by the stream and pond
"It's a great way to warm up when it's cold outside. When I go for a walk along the stream, it's right there where I can easily use it. Of course, building a bridge to access the stream first, helped a lot!"
How I did it: I just kept matches and tinder in the tipi so when it was cold and deep snow was everywhere, I had wood and matches.
I built the tipi first, but that was long ago. Just see it all on www.youtube.com/nancytoday and do a search for tipi.
Lessons & tips: Keep everything in the tipi that you'll need. Candles help in case everything is wet. A warm comforter and some emergency blankets are also good in there. I love my hammock in there, too.
