How I did it: Saw some advertised flight and accomodation specials and booked! Dec-March is off peak so there are some reat specials around. I checked out varous accomodation oon-line and ended up booking at the Cable Beach Club which had a really good deal at the time - free night, kids eat and stay free, $100 meal coucher, 2 day car hire...great value and lovely place to stay!
Lessons & tips: A camel ride on the beach at sunset is a MUST - as is buying a pearl!
