How I did it: I started with all the books on my fiction shelf that I'd never read before and made a conscious effort to read them and decide whether or not I liked them enough to keep.

This helped me to declutter as well.

I also re-read a lot of books.

And of course, reading begets more reading, so it was fairly simple really!

Lessons & tips: I set myself a goal for each month. (7.5 books/month)

I defined at the beginning what 1 book really was.
