How to go to Portland

How I did it: I attended the first SOCK SUMMIT in August of 2009. The trip was such a whirlwind and while I didn't get to see much of Portland except the convention center, I had a fabulous time. I stayed at La Quinta near the convention center. It was a short walk down the block. There was a burger place, Denny's and Starbucks between the hotel and CC.
