How to paint by abstractcolors

"I fell out of painting for awhile,but one night when I was home alone,emotional and needed to let my emotions out somehow I decided all of sudden to set up my paints and everything else up and just paint whatever came to mind."

How I did it: Just jumped right in when I was crying hard and walking around the house in circles due to not knowing how to deal with my emotions.so I just said f-it,Im gonna paint this out.
So instead of putting alot of pressure on myself to paint something nice,or something I kept putting off to paint,I just painted to paint.

Lessons & tips: just get the paintbrush moving even if it doesn't turn out so great...

i liked what you said about:

i think i get hungup on whether whatever i paint will end up liek what is all pretty and perfect in my minds eye when i envision it…

i’d like to try this .. just kind of winging it idea…
